“Change only moves at the speed of trust. When you're in the business of positive social change, having trusted partners like Episcopal Impact Fund is key to success. Their support is fuel for our fire.” –Pastor Paul Bains, President & Founder, WeHOPE
Located in East Palo Alto but serving the greater Bay Area, WeHOPE was founded in 1999 by Pastor Paul Bains and Cheryl Bains. They and their staff's commitment to their neighbors in need is a lifelong passion.
WeHOPE is dedicated to helping the unhoused in the Bay Area become healthy, employed, and housed. They provide various services with an emphasis on mobile homeless services, emergency food & shelter, and job training & life skills. Their mission is to empower individuals in need with resources and solutions to help them achieve stability and independence.
"WeHOPE took me in, loved on me, gave me food and shelter, and helped me lift myself out of addiction and depression." –Alex S.
WeHOPE is the loving neighbor that believes access to clean water, a healthy meal, and affordable dignified housing is a basic human right. They believe that no one facing homelessness should go without a shower, clean laundry, a healthy meal, or a safe place to sleep, which is why they provide comprehensive services that meet the health and safety needs of the whole person. Through job training, recidivism programs, and employment opportunities, they bring life skills to people in need so they can maintain quality of life and put them on a path to self-sufficiency.
WeHOPE is dedicated to helping the unhoused in the Bay Area become healthy, employed, and housed. Episcopal Impact Fund is proud to support their good work.
